CreektoCoral Survey

We are seeking to understand how our community uses and values waterways in the Townsville-Thuringowa region and we would appreciate your input.

The study region covers most waterways and estuaries within the Townsville-Thuringowa local government area, in particular the Ross and Black River Basins and a small part of the Haughton River Basin where the waterways flow to Cleveland Bay. It also includes Magnetic Island, as well as coastal/marine waters e.g. Cleveland and Halifax Bays.

The survey (and maps of the study area) has three parts including:

The region has been divided in to 4 main areas (see Maps of the study area), and you can comment on all or some of the waterway uses/values in any or all of these areas depending on your areas of interest or expertise. More details on how to complete the survey can found in the survey document.

Survey responses are requested by Friday 21st March please (details of where to send them can be found in the survey document).
